Miesiąc temu po wymianie wzajemnych "uprzejmości" z premierem Kaczyńskim, który to nazwał Leppera warchołem, szef Samoobrony został zdymisjonowany. Wczoraj wieczorem prezydent ponownie powołał Leppera do rady ministrów.     Andrzej Lepper wraca po miesięcznej przerwie na stanowiska - wicepremiera i ministra rolnictwa. Prezydent Lech Kaczyński nominował go na te stanowiska bez udziału mediów w poniedziałek wieczorem. Uroczystość, w której uczestniczył Roman Giertych, odbyła się tuż po pokazie filmu " Karol.Papież, który pozostał człowiekiem". Po nominacji minister w kancelarii prezydenta Maciej Łopiński powiedział: "Prezydent z zadowoleniem przyjął zakończenie kryzysu politycznego, który trwał parę tygodni. Polska jest na dobrej drodze rozwojowej, rośnie PKB, rosną inwestycje, nie ma żadnego powodu, byśmy również politycznie przeżywali jakieś zawirowania". Łopiński dodał też, że w poniedziałek została podpisana "deklaracja programowa" między PiS, LPR i Samoobroną. W deklaracji tej zawarty jest wspólny program, który trzy partie będą realizować. Łopiński zaprzeczył też,jakoby niezaproszenie mediów na uroczystość oznaczało, że była to "wstydliwa uroczystość". Przypomnijmy, że 21 września premier Jarosław Kaczyński mówił o Lepperze jako o warchole: "Lepper otrzymał szansę na uczestniczenie w procesie dobrego rządzenia". Jak dodał, Lepper z tej szansy nie skorzystał i powrócił do "swoich praktyk - warcholstwa". "Warcholstwa w żadnym razie nie możemy tolerować"- oświadczył. Natomiast Andrzej Lepper skomentował całą sprawę jako zwykłe chamstwo: "Chamstwo, chamstwo i jeszcze raz chamstwo (...) To nie ja zachowałem się jak awanturnik, jak cham, jak niewychowany. Brak kultury politycznej, osobistej, to co premier wyprawia w tym rządzie nie konsultując nic z nikim".  Jednak jak widać wzajemne animozje poszły w kąt, bo przez ostatnie kilka tygodni trwały rozmowy o powrocie Samoobrony do koalicji rządowej.
